Tim was a founding partner of MCT Asset Management (1996) and established and managed several top-ranked funds and a specialised investment company with combined assets of over USD 1bn. Tim was also a Member of the Board, a Member of the Executive Management Committee and Head of Asset Management of Valartis Bank, a Swiss listed Investment Group with CHF 4bn AuM. In 2008 he established Quesnell Capital SA, an independent private investment company and then in 2012 he co-founded First Geneva Capital Partners. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta.

Canadian national, 30+ years experience in emerging capital markets. Ian co-founded First Geneva Capital Partners in 2012. Prior to this, Ian was based in London for 15 years; as a senior Portfolio Manager at the hedge fund Argo Capital, the head of emerging markets at ING Barings, a vice-president at Banco Santander and a proprietary trader at Banco Bozano, Simonsen S.A. He was previously based in Tokyo as an investment analyst at the Sanwa Bank and started his career in 1989 in Helsinki with the industrial group Kone, financing trade between Finland and the Soviet Union. Ian holds an MSc in Finance from the London Business School, University of London and undergraduate Economics and Finance degrees from the University of Regina.

Dutch national, over 30 years of financial industry experience at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. He pioneered numerous structured fixed income, credit and tax/ABS products. In 2008, Eric founded Aurum Global Trading an active long/short precious metals fund. On a personal level he has long been engaged in climate change issues and organised events with leading scientists in the field. A supporter of nature preservation projects in Latin America, Romania and Alaska. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Hogeschool Utrecht.

Swiss / Peruvian national. Lisette has previously worked for HSBC and UBS in various private client management roles, working with Asset Managers located in Latin America. She is a certified “Compliance Officer” by the Swiss regulator, FINMA. Lisette holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Trujillo University in Peru and is fluent in French, Spanish and English.
